Behind The Music: The Unbreakable Spirit

Chronic Lyme disease, it's horrific and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone... Currently a huge epidemic globally and not fully recognized by the CDC or fully understood by the medical community.

Music has literally saved my life, and I don't say that lightly... The only time I'm not in pain is when I am on stage for that 3-4hr window, it's as if all time stands still… The endorphins released probably have something to do with it, although I believe it’s much more than that.

I've played through; fevers, migraines, severe nausea and much more... the show must go on! With a smile on my face and the intention to be of service in my heart, no one would ever know what goes on behind closed doors… never missed a gig yet, as long as I have a voice!

These days you don't hear many unique sounds out there... many genres and vocalists just seem to blend into one another.

What makes me unique, first and foremost, is my passion and how that shines through in my performance. I've been through hell and back and it shows through in the timbre of my raw, gritty vocals. Also my ability to truly connect to an audience, no matter what the size. As an artist, it’s my job to create and perform what people feel but can’t always express… Music is a universal language and a great healing tool.

Most don’t know my story, although it is my hope to have a bigger platform to share it and inspire others. All we have is this moment, no excuses... If I can do it, so can you!
